Next, cut small \u201cwings\u201d from the colored felt and glue them in place. Lastly, glue the googly eyes in place. Done! Birch is preferred for its beautiful white bark.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two or three taper, pillar, or dinner candles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Small pinecones, dried berries, acorns, and leaves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some twine or a small amount of burlap<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A drill with a drill bit sized to your candle\u2019s base<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, find which side of the log sits flat the best. Then, on top, drill equidistant holes for the two or three candles you\u2019ve purchased. Next, glue your decorations, including leaves, berries, acorns, etc. Attach your burlap or twine and place the candles in their holes and you\u2019re done!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can use your harvest log as a centerpiece, or place it on your mantel.
